Preventing pimple popping! Why you need Salicylic Acid in your skincare routine

Pimples, pustules and blackheads galore! Put your hands up if you're a notorious pimple popper?

Whilst many of us know that it is never a good idea to pop, sometimes it's just too hard to resist!

One of the best ingredients that you can incorporate into your skincare regime to help prevent the pop (daily or weekly depending on your skin concerns) is Salicylic Acid!

Salicylic Acid is one of the best-known Beta-Hydroxy Acids (BHA) which help to dissolve the glue that bonds dead skin cells and fresh new skin cells. Imagine your skin is like the tiles in your shower and the glue is the grout - Salicylic Acid helps to dissolve the bonds in the 'grout' and removes the dead skin, leaving you with a fresh and glowy complexion!

Salicylic Acid is particularly beneficial as it is one of the only acids that can clean the inside of your pores! It is extremely effective in minimising the appearance of pores, reducing blemishes in the skin, helping with skin texture making it smooth and keeping your skin looking bright!
